interAll has appointed Leah Hobson as Chief Operating Officer, strengthening its leadership team as the company continues to blitz-scale interConnect v2.0 nationwide. Leah will be pivotal in driving interAll’s ambition to deliver the benefits of interConnect v2.0 to more than 300 UK commercial buildings within the next three years; on the path towards becoming the UK’s number one provider of the foundational layer for any smart building or estate: internet, infrastructure, and cyber security.
Leah brings more than 12 years of experience in operations across telecoms, property, and PropTech. She played key roles at both Telcom (now Elevate) and M247 during the early development of their commercial property propositions, as well as being a key player during the advent of PIA fibre delivery; when Altnets first began deploying fibre through Openreach ducts.
Leah also spent time at Bruntwood, giving her a unique property technology perspective; as she understands not only how PropTech solutions should be delivered, but also how landlords and occupiers experience them day-to-day. She sees things from both sides, supplier and customer, which is why she’s so effective at building the best possible experience, balancing what’s technically possible with what customers rightly expect.
Leah’s career has been both strategic and hands-on. She’s been on the ground for installations, built processes and systems that keep operations watertight, and developed frameworks that make sure projects land on time and to the highest standard.
At interAll, Leah will oversee customer delivery, process and system management, documentation, installation teams, and more than 15 surveyors and remote engineers who underpin the company’s five-hour guaranteed fix time. She will also work closely with interAll’s first line support team and technical build specialists to ensure consistency and excellence in customer experience, overseeing operations from contract signature all the way through to the rare occasion of decommissioning.
Edward Davies, CEO and Founder of interAll, said:
“As soon as Leah became available, we knew we had to move. She’s one of the rare people who’s lived through all the big shifts in our industry; from pre-installed property infrastructure to solve the delivery lead-time crises, to the birth of PIA fibre and the Altnet movement. Now she’s stepping into the next era of PropTech with interAll; Smart building enablement, helping us reach 300 buildings in three years and then push on to become the UK’s leading provider of the foundational layer for any smart building or estate. Leah gets both the telecoms and property worlds, and she’s relentlessly customer-led. That’s exactly what we want interAll to be known for. She drops straight into the areas we wanted to strengthen and will make sure customer communication and experience aren’t just good, they’re the best in the industry.”
On her appointment, Leah Hobson said:
“Joining interAll as COO felt like the perfect, natural next step in my career. It brings together everything I value: innovation, customer focus and operational excellence while giving me the opportunity to help shape how smart-ready infrastructure is experienced at scale. interAll’s ambition matches my own: to set a new benchmark for customer experience in this industry and to make the benefits of interConnect v2.0 something that occupiers feel every day.
It’s rare to find a company scaling this quickly while keeping people and customer experience at the centre. I’m excited to help shape operations so customers feel supported every step of the way.”
As well as leading operations, Leah will also support interAll’s sustainability commitments through interNature, taking part in quarterly Business Action Days on the farm. These hands-on days see the interAll team working directly on peatland restoration, biodiversity, and carbon sequestration projects; a practical way of giving back to the community while making buildings more climate-positive.
Her appointment marks the next step in interAll’s mission to set a new benchmark for secured, smart-ready buildings across the UK, delivering both the ultimate technical performance and outstanding customer experience.
